IHME Club
"This year, the IHME Club is staging Pixelache and IHME 2010 as a collaboration. At this event music, art, dance and feeling all come together in perfect harmony.
The main act is Slagsmålsklubben (Sweden), who have a great track record of both artistry and hype. This electric group springs from a world of disco, electro and naivistic toy electronics, a world that knows no limits. The band´s gigs are legendary, and the word is that they are loud party experiences. Welcome to the crowd! There´s atmosphere in a crowd!
We also wanted a band unmarked by reputation or thousands of stage gigs. It was time for something new and mysterious. By special order, a new act was recruited from Finland: Black Horse! To many, Jussi Lehtisalo, Tomi Leppänen, Janne Westerlund, Pekka Jääskeläinen, Julius Jääskeläinen and Timo Kaukolampi might be just faces in the crowd, but for the initiated few those names evoke fear and euphoria! Black Horse cannot be put into words - that would miss the point. To know Black Horse you have to experience it with all your senses. Black Horse is an enigma, a black hole, a beginning and an end.
And for any successful party, music on disc is a "must"! The IHME Club proudly presents two hardcore pro DJs:
Jaakko Eino Kalevi and Amon Düde!
Jaakko Eino Kalevi is a musician, tram driver and male model. This two-metre hunk can turn heads and feet towards the dance floor in less than a nanosecond! The sounds resonate with personal experiences and individual influences. Jaakko knows what hits the spot - the style is Art-Disco-Rock. "Modern Times" is his latest groove! And be ready to react when he shouts into the mic: "Everybody join in!".
Since the IHME Club is intensely dualistic, Jaakko has his own opposite number: Amon Düde!
Scared of the dark? Amon Düde! Money run out? Amon Düde! Jazz or heavy? Amon Düde!
Every sound says: Amon Düde! Could there really be anything more amazing than this IHMEman: Amon Düde! Try him!
The Club doesn´t splurge on masses of light, but concentrates on the essentials. VJs mix images and atmospheres in perfect synch with the music. The mood soars to the heights and burns up in flames. The triad go round and round the circle in an endless flow, until it explodes and a perfect lotus flower emerges from the ashes.
The Club´s visuals are the work of Sune Petersen, aka Motorsaw, from Denmark and Sakke Soini from Finland. Both artists have their own distinct style. Sune plays software that he has developed himself, filling the screen with endlessly new, generative, mathematically pure patterns. With his uncompromising style and richly retro world, Sakke Soini has risen rapidly into the ranks of the graphic-design nobility. His VJ appearances are energy-filled, stylized total events that are guaranteed to raise the mood right into the stratosphere.
